Who We Are

eGovernment is our Single Focus

Experience

The state of Kansas is honored to be considered the birthplace of eGovernment. Kansas legislation was passed in 1990 authorizing the creation of the Information Network of Kansas, Inc (INK). In 1991, INK awarded Kansas Information Consortium, LLC (KIC), the network manager contract and began eGovernment operations. KIC builds, operates, maintains and markets Kansas.gov and is part of eGovernment firm NIC’s (EGOV) family of companies.

How We Work

All of our projects are agile, including daily scrums and communication with our partners. The result is a faster process.

SELF-FUNDED MODEL

KIC provides eGovernment services without state tax appropriations through its self-funded model. Our self-funded model: works for government, works for business, works for people.
How Self-Funded Works
